While I quite like the tear drop shade of this brow pencil, I’m still very much in favour of the preciseness of the other brow pencil… and the spoolie just isn’t that great to make me swing over to the new brow product. No. It doesn’t tug or feel to try making it pretty easy to apply, and overall a pretty decent pencil. The colour matched my brow hair really well (luckily), and the pigment is definitely there. You can use the tip of the tear drop for the more precise ‘fake’ brow hairs at the front of your brows, and then use it on the side to fill in the rest of your brow. To start off with, this was kind of not useful, and I couldn’t quite work out how to get my head round it. The brow pencil comes in a teardrop shape. It’s a great thing that Maybelline have included one, it saves time and effort and I always appreciate it when brow products do (I really wish the Maybelline Brow Satin had a spoolie on the end rather than the weird powder thing no one uses), however it’s tiny… which I guess can be useful… but this is beyond tiny… I feel like it could have done with being a little longer. The product comes with a spoolie on one end and a mechanical pencil on the other, and it comes in this salmon colour which is rather unique. There are 4 shades to the range, which is pretty standard for a drugstore brow range… however, they’re all fairly similar shades (blonde, soft brown, medium brown and deep brown). I feel like, with the NYX brow pencils and the L’Oreal brow pomade, I have tried a million and one different brow products over the last few months.
